She laughed!!!
Raelye laughed out loud today!!! She has been on the verge many times and she would laugh without any sound. This morning it came out. I laughed with her and cried at the same time.
We had a rough couple of nights where Ms Raelye didn't want to sleep! I took her to the dr yesterday just to check and see if I was missing anything. Dr said she looked perfect and has gained more weight to a total of 12 lb 11 oz so far! I think she may be teething a little bit and she was frustrated with me that I changed the blanket she sleeps on. All fixed now. Last night was far better!
She's waking up from her nap. I can hear her over the monitor and she's talking to the critters on the mobile again.
Her Gabby & Gaga come tomorrow. We're all excited! Mama & Daddy might actually get a dinner together!

Ahhh The Better To See You With...
Raelye's vision has definetly improved here lately. She is able to see things at much further distances than previously. As of right now, she is seriously watching Tombstone with her Daddy. That kid loves TV already. Trust me I'm not trying to get her too. Yesterday it was Scobby Doo then March Madness games all day. We walk by and she gets fixed on it!
I finally got her decorations up in her room. She noticed when we sat down in the rocking chair that it was definetly different in there. I realized she just kept staring at one of the signs on the wall.
Raelye has been talking more and more. She has even talked to the critters on her mobile once or twice.
She slept really good last night, cycling 3 hrs, 3 hrs, 2 hrs. Its much easier on me than when she sleeps 4 hrs then hr by hr.
We're trying to teach her to take a bottle. Its not working out so easily. We keep trying it when she's in the bathtub (her happy place) and at least she won't scream :) (Thanks to babycenter.com for the suggestion)
We're going to Tom & Becca's today to BBQ. Better start getting us all dressed! Much love~

St Patty's Day
Sightseeing with Aaron's Family Day 3 & 4
On Sunday we drove by the Capitol then to Ocean Shores and saw the Pacific Ocean. It was too cold for Raelye to get it and the wind put Texas winds to shame. Aaron did find a lot of whole sanddollars. Waves you could surf on if only you could swim out.

Raelye had visitors
First things first: Raelye rolled over on Thursday March 12! She rolled over again yesterday when she was playing with her daddy.
Raelye had visitors Friday thru Tuesday. Aaron's family came in; Kay, Granny, Mandi, and Katelynn. We took adventures all over the state. Friday we went to Pike Place Market:
Seattle Aquarium: seahorse
I'm going to post each day individually so I can attach pictures.

She's growing!
I just have a minute as I'm guessing Raelye will be waking shortly, she's actually been napping in her CRIB YAYYYY!!! for over an hour!!! I'm ecstatic. It gave me a few seconds to read emails. We finally got our house stuff and started settling in. Aaron had to make a trip back to Temple so its been a slow process finishing off the details. Raelye is growing quickly and staying awake much more during the day.
Raelye had her 2 month dr appointment on Monday. She is now 11 lb 8 oz and 23.5 in long! She's looking great. She has started smiling more and making noises at me & Aaron. We play in the mornings where I'm still laying down and holding her over me by putting my hands under her arms. She strecthes herself, kicks and bounces with her legs, looks out the window behind the bed, and turns her head in all directions. She will crinkle up her nose if you touch it during play time. I've started calling her Raelye the Rabbit during playtime. We often skin the rabbit then redress the rabbit; and Raelye the Rabbit fits well :)
I have taken a few new pictues but don't have wireless set up to my computer right now so its a challenge in finding time to get on here. I will try to get them posted soon. We should be finishing the details ond decorations on our house this weekend and I will take some pictures of it as well.
(I'm watching the dogs wrestle on the back porch, their fighting over a pine cone thats been there for days. They were watching the two fat grey squirrels jump from evergreen to evergreen behind the house. They sure love the huge backyard & deck. Annie loves to swim in the koi pond and Apache has taught her how to climb on top of the picnic table so they can see in the kitchen window!)
